Security Essen 2018: Pieper GmbH Focuses on Cross-Integration
Schwerte, August 1, 2018. Pieper GmbH, a manufacturer-independent provider of industrial video and security systems, will demonstrate the diversity of networked IP technologies and the advantages of system integration for video security at Security Essen 2018. The Schwerte-based system integrator will be exhibiting at stand 5C08 in Hall 5.
Video surveillance, access control, alarm systems – an integrated solution that combines all processes and applications in a single system has a wealth of advantages for users. However, requirements differ a great deal depending on the industry or the size of the company. The diversity and possibilities of subsection cross-integration are therefore what Pieper GmbH’s presence at this year’s Security Essen trade fair, which will run from September 25 to 29 in the Ruhr region’s metropolis, will focus on.
Optimized Processes and Lower Costs due to Software Integration
Cross-integration enables Pieper to meet the market’s demands exactly, explains Andreas Fieberg, Pieper GmbH’s South / Austria / Switzerland Area Manager: “IP technology means that all the subsections can be bundled using a central security management system. Not only does this have a positive effect on quality management and process optimization; it leads to greater occupational safety too. Many companies are reluctant to invest in new technologies. In this regard, switching from analog to digital in the medium term is also very attractive from a financial standpoint.”
Technological Highlights: from Drone Detection to Perimeter Protection
What cross-integration means for perimeter protection will be on full show at Pieper GmbH’s stand in Hall 5: smart video security with the latest audio and radar technologies, plus an extensive range of access control systems. Pieper will present software from the field of video and process monitoring as a special feature. The software in question enables users to arrange windows of several visual transmissions in a freely scalable and adjustable manner on a multi-touch monitor. The critical process can be enlarged and examined in greater detail in an emergency.
Video-based early fire detection is one of the product highlights too. Fires that are already breaking out and smoke development can be detected in the video image using CCTV security cameras and self-learning algorithms. The system is particularly suitable for environments where conventional technologies are being stretched to their limits. The Pieper stand will also feature air surveillance systems as another focal topic. Software-based solutions localize drones, protect companies from industrial espionage and protect vulnerable areas as part of a fully automatic process.
Visitors are cordially invited to come along to Pieper GmbH’s stand (5C08) in Hall 5 between September 25 and 29.
