Early fire detection

Especially in large and winding industrial areas, the early detection of smoke development by appropriate safety systems is essential to avoid consequential damage from fires. As an ideal complement to existing BMZ environments, PIEPER provides an EU-certified visual camera system that, in the case of even minimal smoke generation, protects early and reliably against the spread of possible fires by means of live transmission: Danger site is immediately located and observed, so that rescue workers can proceed to the action with certainty. False alarms are almost excluded compared to the traditional fire alarm technology. For early fire detection as well as for process monitoring, PIEPER also relies on an IP-based thermal camera system that can be integrated into existing fire alarm systems, which continuously scans an area to be monitored and transmits corresponding thermal images. In the event of unusual temperature increases, the early detection system automatically issues an alarm, so that fire cannons can be controlled directly thanks to a seamless connection with the fire alarm control centre.
